Lace Merino Aran Hand Painted by Ella Rae

Lace Merino Aran is hand dyed.  The colors are intense, edgy and breathtaking.  The yarn is twisted firmly giving it great bounce.   I loved knitting my sample swatch.   My first experience with this yarn was late summer of 2017.  My rep gave me a hank to sample, and I worked up a hat.  Loved working with it and loved the end result. The hat was stretchy and a good weight for the gentlemen I gave it too.  

Because of its twist, knit or crocheted jackets for young and old will hold their shape well, thus giving those garments a long life.  Crochet is a bit thicker, so a crocheted jacket will be heavier and warmer.  Whereas a knitted jacket will be more of a cardigan weight.  Cables and any other textured stitches just pop with this yarn.
